Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Snaptori ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Snaptori is operated by Princif, LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Snaptori. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To use Snaptori, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Description of Service

Snaptori is a travel discovery application that helps users explore the cultural and historical context of places they visit. The service includes:

• Photo recognition: Identifying places from user-captured photos
• Story generation: Providing AI-generated narratives about identified places
• Discovery collection: Storing and organizing your discoveries
• Export: Downloading your collection in PDF or JSON format

5. Passes and Payments

5.1 Complimentary Access

All users receive 2 complimentary snaps per day. Unused complimentary snaps do not carry over. Each snap refreshes individually 24 hours after use.

5.2 Pass Purchases

Passes provide unlimited snaps for a fixed duration. Available passes include 1-day, 3-day, 5-day, 7-day, 10-day, 12-day, and 15-day options.

• Passes activate immediately upon purchase
• Pass duration is measured from the moment of activation
• Passes do not auto-renew
• Multiple passes cannot be stacked; purchasing a new pass while one is active will extend your access from the current expiration date

5.3 Payment Processing

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By making a purchase, you agree to the respective store's terms of service and payment policies.

5.4 Refunds

Refunds are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in accordance with their respective refund policies. Princif, LLC does not directly process refunds.

If a refund is granted by the store, your Pass access will be revoked immediately.

We do not offer partial or prorated refunds for unused Pass time.

5.5 Consent to Immediate Delivery

By purchasing a Pass, you consent to the immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal upon activation of the Pass, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

6. User Content

6.1 Your Photos

You retain full ownership of all photos you capture through the App. By using Snaptori, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process your photos solely for the purpose of providing the service (place identification and story generation).

We do not use your photos for marketing, advertising, or any purpose other than delivering the service to you, unless you provide separate explicit consent.

6.2 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content of your photos. You represent that your photos do not:

• Violate any applicable law
• Infringe on any third party's rights
• Contain illegal, harmful, or objectionable content

7. Story Content and Intellectual Property

7.1 Ownership

Story content generated by Snaptori is proprietary to Princif, LLC, and is licensed to users as described below. This includes all narratives, highlights, practical tips, and other text produced by the App.

7.2 License to Users — All Users

You may:

• View, read, and listen to story content within the App
• Share your discoveries, including story content, on social media and in personal communications
• Export your collection for personal use

You may not:

• Resell or bulk redistribute story content
• Claim authorship of story content
• Scrape, systematically download, or extract story content through automated means
• Remove or alter any attribution to Snaptori

7.3 License to Users — Pass Holders

In addition to the rights granted to all users, Pass holders may:

• Use story content in published works, including blogs, articles, and books
• Use story content in monetized content, including videos and newsletters
• Use story content in business or marketing materials

Pass holder commercial use requires attribution to Snaptori as the source.

7.4 AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Story content is generated using artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies. Snaptori does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any story content. Stories are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

You should not rely solely on story content for decisions regarding safety, navigation, legal compliance, or any matter where inaccurate information could cause harm.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Snaptori to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security measures
• Abuse the refund process through repeated purchase-and-refund cycles
• Create multiple accounts to obtain additional complimentary snaps

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

9. Privacy

Your use of Snaptori is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

SNAPTORI IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Story content will be accurate, complete, or reliable
• Place identification will be correct in all circumstances
• The App will be compatible with all devices or operating systems

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRINCIF, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
• Service interruptions, including during an active Pass period
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated story content
• Actions taken based on story content
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Princif, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third party's rights
• Content you upload or share through the App

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Arbitration

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

• Arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis
• You waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration
• The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding

13.3 Exceptions

The following disputes are exempt from arbitration:

• Claims that may be brought in small claims court
• Disputes related to intellectual property rights
• Users in jurisdictions where mandatory arbitration is prohibited by applicable law, including the European Economic Area

14. Account Termination

14.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Account deletion will remove your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
• We are required to do so by law
• We discontinue the service

If we terminate your account for a violation, no refund will be issued for any active Pass.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms in the App
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending a notification for significant changes

Your continued use of Snaptori after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the App and delete your account.

16. Miscellaneous

16.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Princif, LLC regarding Snaptori.

16.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

16.4 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, pandemic, war, terrorism, power outages, internet disruptions, or third-party service failures.

16.5 Assignment

We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without your consent. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our prior written consent.
